Banquet

We have a fundraising banquet every fall for our donors and friends of Young Life. We present the work that we do and give the community an opportunity to support the work with pledges or donations. (There is no cost for kids to be in Young Life, except for their camp costs). The banquet is a good place for parents and community members to learn about the work of Young Life. People attend as our guests and there is no obligation to give. This year it will be held at the Omni Hotel on November 12, 2001. Call the Young Life office for more information: 434-964-1867.

 Golf Marathon

In the spring we have 40 golfers play in our Golf Marathon. Each golfer raises $1000 or more in sponsors to enter and plays 100 holes of golf for Young Life. We have great prizes awarded to golfers. For example, trips, golf bags, etc. Everyone comes home with something and you're treated like a king or queen during the day with great service at the "pit stops". We plan to be at Birdwood in 2002. Call the office if you would like to play 100 holes and help support Young Life.

 Sending kids to camp

To help kids go to summer camp, we have two fundraisers:

Car Wash

The Car Wash is for kids to get pledges for the total amount of cars washed. Car Wash is held at the Double Tree Hotel on Route 29 North in early May.
